The Biomedical Data Analysis Platform has implemented over 20 bioinformatics tools, covering deep learning prediction, disease phenotype association, protein functional analysis, sequence alignment and metabolic analysis. Apart from the conventional bioinformatics applications, novel software tools are included in the server. The sever provides friendly user web interface as well as the standard RESTful APIs for programmatic access, enabling easy exploration and analysis of data. A full set of client-side programmes written in Python, Java and Perl languages are included. At the same time, the web forms offer manual interactions and output results with user-friendly visualization.
As far as we are aware of, this is the first open platform of using web services technology to implement deep learning prediction and disease phenotype association, allowing users programmatically analyse data remotely and securely with no login requirement.
